Description and use of weapons

The course provides knowledge of the legislation in force on weapons and of the specific provisions governing their use by sworn private security guards (Guardie Particolari Giurate, GPG), covering in depth the operating procedures and the reporting obligations laid down by the sector's rules.

• Consolidated Law on Public Security (TULPS) and classification of weapons
• Carrying, transport and possession of weapons;
• Reporting obligations relating to weapons
• Transporting weapons on public transport;
• GPG and weapons: regulatory framework;
• The exercises required for GPG by Ministerial Decree 269/2010.

To acquire knowledge of the different types of weapons, the related legislation and the operating rules laid down for GPG by the TULPS and by Ministerial Decree no. 269 of 1 December 2010.
