Course description

The F1A course trains staff who prepare dangerous goods shipments and sign the transport document (Shipper's Declaration). It is the most comprehensive of the Dangerous Goods courses: it covers the whole process, from classifying the goods to the declaration that accompanies the package. San Giorgio delivers it as an ENAC-recognised training organisation, in compliance with IATA DGR and ICAO regulations.

Details

Who it is for. The course is aimed at those in the company who actually prepare dangerous goods shipments and take responsibility for signing the transport declaration (the Shipper's Declaration): freight forwarders, shipping department staff and employees of companies that send dangerous goods by air.

Training follows the competency-based approach (CBTA), the standard required by ICAO and IATA: the aim is to build practical operational skills, not just theoretical knowledge.

Exam and training certificate. There is an exam at the end of the course. Participants who pass the exam receive an ENAC-recognised training certificate, valid for a maximum of 24 months.
